SmapxSmap
Did any of my foreign fans happen to see the most recent SmapxSmap? Can you get it outside of Japan? I was very flattered; they did an episode to honor me! Of course, they could not admit to this explicitly, or Johnny would be upset, but isn't it obvious? First of all, Goro made a family of clay penguins. I think that's his way of apologizing to me for all the grief he gave me (someone must have told him that he was the reason I quit Smap). I appreciate it. It even has a "mother penguin" PROTECTING the other penguins. This is obviously a symbol of me, protector of all penguins. The better part, however, was the "Takenozuka" section. Of course, KimuTaku is not quite as good of an otokoyaku as I am, but he did a very decent job. I'm sure Jun Shibuki is very very flattered. She did, after all, pattern herself after him entirely. She spends so much time watching videos of him to copy him. I don't understand why she doesn't just copy me, since I am there in the flesh, but I will never understand the overpowering allure of Kimura. I must just accept it. But I am so happy that he chose to shout out to me by playing my role in a Smap skit! They have not forgotten me! Shingo, you looked darling in the dress, by the way. Takarazuka
For the past year or so, I have been entertaining the idea of writing my own Takarazuka extravaganza. I have some tunes in mind (the jimusho would never let me perform my own compositions when I was still in Smap), but as yet have not decided on a plot. I think I want a love story, since what would Takarazuka be without romance? Does anyone have an idea for a villain? I think a good plot depends on an excellent villain. If I can think of a sufficiently sinister plot with which to motivate my antagonist, I can craft the rest of the story around that. Please, help me create my masterpiece! I, of course, will star as the main otokoyaku. Current Mood: creativeCurrent Music: Smap - Ganbarimashou | | Sunday, October 19th, 2003 | | 4:50 pm |
American Candy
I recently tasted my first "jelly belly." I find American candies rather unappetizing; their bright colors look far too artificial and possibly toxic. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed some of these little treats. A few were too sweet, such as vanilla, and others just... didn't meet. I mean, the flavors didn't go well together. Like cinammon, or popcorn, or peanut butter. A friend brought me some of these from the Sony store. He was amused that I'd spent time in America but never had any of these sweets while I was there, and that he had to buy them imported for me. I explained that just because I'd been to America didn't necessarily mean I'd tried one of many thousands of confections they manufacture there. He's never been abroad before, though, so I suppose it's a little more natural for him to assume that if something's from a foreign country, that all said foreigners are intimately familiar with it. Maybe Goro should use jelly bellies for his next dessert on Bistro Smap. It couldn't be worse than his spam omelette. I really wish they would invite me to be a guest on that show sometime. A lot of Tsuyoppon's kimuchi recipes make me salivate, and Shingo's dishes are always so artistic and creative. I'd love to eat that stuff, and hang out with the guys all together again. And maybe have the public recognize that I still exist. 剛 - ごめん!もちろん健と剛はあまりいい人じゃないけど、この歌だけが気に入った よ! Hotpants
Since multiple people on my friends list, including Nakai, have recently mentioned my hotpants from Sexy Six Show, I decided to see if I could dig them up anywhere. I was rather amazed to find that I do in fact still have a pair! I suppose I kept them out of my sentimental attachment to Smap. Anyway, these things are ridiculously tight. I still fit in them, but I'm trying to imagine how I used to dance around in them; even Tsuyoppon would have to suck in his guy to sqeeze these on! But I must say, they seem rather flattering.... Quizzes
I have been looking at some other people's livejournals and noticed that they often post the results of online quizzes. It seems a bit silly, but I thought I would try just one, so I took one that was designed to guess which member of Smap I was. I'm not sure why it would be a popular test, since it could only really apply to six people in the world, right? But because I am one of those six people, I decided I could indulge myself in a little bit of silliness. However, I was somewhat disturbed by these results! You Are The Other Guy!! In case people like Shingo do not know certain English slang, I'd like to mention that "you suck" is not a very nice thing to say! I wonder who made this test, and why the creator hated me so. Yes, I quit Smap. I'm sorry. But that is no reason to degrade me as a person! Or do you really feel that I have betrayed you so much? I wonder if they will let me do a concert with them again sometime, but I fear it is too late. First Post
Hello everyone! My name is Mori Katsuyuki. Perhaps you remember me as a former member of Smap. Unfortunately, it seems as though many people have forgotten about me, and it looks like Johnny is trying to deny that I ever existed. Anyway, I've decided to start a livejournal because my dear friend Shingo won't stop bugging me about it. So I finally gave in. I've never been very good at denying him, after all. One thing I'd like to mention: since leaving Smap, my English has improved vastly. In fact, at this point it has far surpassed Shingo's. I'd hate to make him feel bad about it, since he has worked so hard to reach the point he's at with his Shingrish, as I like to call it, since at best it's really only an imperfect facsimile of English, so I've told him that I have a friend translating this journal for me. Don't worry; he won't understand this post enough to realize what I'm saying, but please don't tell him that this is really my own English, alright? That being said, yoroshiku! For the sake of my foreign fans who would like to learn Japanese as I have learned English, I will type my Japanese in romaji. Current Mood: contentCurrent Music: Gackt - 12gatsu no love song |
